How to send SMS from M1 to Singtel and Vice versa
All right since Singtel and M1 don't talk I have found a way (loophole)
in which user of M1 handphone could send SMS to Singtel handphone. Tested
with both GSM 900 and GSM 1800 network. Sorry CDMA user would have to wait.
Alright enough braging Now for the real thing.
Set your SMS server number to an oversea number (e.g. +358405202999) then when you send SMS to your friend, remember to add the prefix "+65" (e.g. +65xxxxxxx). Yes it is that simple. For M1 user you will be sending an oversea SMS (still free) So the oversea SMS server will need the prefix "+65" to identify a Singapore number. Singtel user will have to pay $5 subscription for SMS sending and 5cents a message. Receiving message is free.
So happy SMS'ing.

So far for Singtel numbers the free SMSC number works with 981xxxxx
965xxxxx
And numbers starting with 973xxxxx is not working
No problem with M1 phone.
+352021100003
works with 965xxxxx numbers
M1 no problem.
